Ok at first, then...
More or less what I expected as far as comfort and utility, however, the base wore out in less than 6 months. Had to re-weld it which looks terrible. Wouldnt order again.

Great GPS
5 of 5 found this helpful This is an outstanding recreational GPS. I have used it hunting and work for at least 4-5 years. The Mapsend maps are a little out of date, but this model was not made for vehicle navigation, although you can use it as such.
I have also used it at work extensively for preliminary engineering and design survey work (developing large public works projects). There is a free 3rd party software that allows you to sync with the terreserver aerial photos so you can plan or review your trips on the computer. I have just bought my second one because my first one is beginning to get worn out from use and I wanted to get another while I still could. These clearance prices are unbelievable. The reviews on newer models still indicate that color screens are hard to read in the sunlight. (DO NOT get a Meridian Color. The power consumption is WAY to significant and you cannot see the screen in the sunlight.)
