Good sound but basey
I have an older model in my shop. I got these for my wife's computer. Like most things Bose, they're heavy on the base. The base control knob is poorly placed at the back of the subwoofer. it would be better to have control on the front for easy access.
I really like the on/off volume control. It's super easy to use and adjust.
What would really set this apart would be a base, midrange, treble balance. Is there software available from Bose for a laptop?
In all, it's very good sound and if you're a base-aholic, it's just the thing
Oh, it's easy to add a bluetooth control to the on/off volume control. Mine plugs right in to the mini port and you're phone connects.

A fraction of the retail cost for the same product.
I got the pair for 1/6th the cost of the same item from a door and window shop. They are an exact match and slide smoothly.
