Great for Herman Miller Aeron
Used this to repair my 2002 Herman Miller Aeron... Great hardware, great price.
You must use a pipe wrench to loosen and remove the old cylinder from the base of the chair. Just twist is back and forth until it comes loose, there is not snapping mechanism nor does it screw loose, just brute force twisting until the old one gives way and comes out. Clamp pliers and channel locks don't cut it for this job...
