Bosch Easycut 12 Cordless Nano Blade Saw With 12 V Lithium-Ion Battery

Bosch Easycut 12 Nano saw

Basically a mini chainsaw allowing precision sawing of wood. The Bosch is a very easy device to use with a safety interlock button accessed both sides of the pistol grip and actuated by the thumb side of either hand thus allowing it to be used in either hand. The interlock must be pressed before the pistol trigger can be pressed to actuate the cutting blade. I love the device but haven’t found the ‘perfect’ mode of operation. As far as cutting branches it would be far quicker to use secateurs or lobbers or small garden pruning saw. The device can not cope with anything larger diameter than an 2.5cm (1”) and I’ve seen other reviews that report the chain breaking easily if ‘pressured’ - @ £14 per blade that’s expensive! So the saw needs to be treated with respect. Will be trying the saw with up to 12mm thick board in near future. The saw is a well balanced tool to hold and I can see it would be very useful for wood sculpture fine detail in the context of fullsize chainsaw wood sculpture. Has enhanced 12V Lithium ion battery technology which allegedly delivers longer usage time. Quick Charger and saw come in a robust plastic box.
