Genuinely Impressed...
I honestly wasn't expecting much at the price this unit was on sale for but I have to say I have been very impressed - its surprisingly solidly built, looks smart, and with a nice pair of 60s Mullard M8100 tubes installed it sounds really sweet. The tone controls have a useful range and the noise levels appear to be pretty low. I wanted it for an amp without tone controls and a master volume and it did just the job. All in all, for the money, I'm impressed and would definitely buy another!

A Very Useful & Feature Rich DDS Signal Generator for the Money!
I have been very impressed with this little unit which has features I'd expect to see in a desktop DDS Function Generator costing significantly more. The display is very clear, the user interface is intuitive and the output is accurate. My only comment, but I can hardly complain for the money, is that the casing is a little too lightweight for my liking but all in all it is remarkably good value for money. It will be a very useful addition to my lab.

Impressed For the Money...
For such an inexpensive unit I have to say I am impressed. The unit has effortlessly produced continuous currents of up to 16 Amps on the bench for many hours without generating excessive heat whilst testing a vintage processor sub-system under controlled conditions. I like the multi-turn voltage control and clear backlit display too. There is a cooling fan but it only kicks in when it needs to and its relatively quiet when it does.
Only a few years back I would have expected to many times the price of this unit for a variable current-limited 0-30 0-20A DC bench switch-mode supply.
Whilst the metal case and large output posts on the rear panel feel pretty solid, my only real gripe is that the front panel feels like it could have been a bit more robust but, again, for the money its only a small negative.
