Recommend taking them apart before installing them resealing them and putting them back together moister always ends up inside of them I have them on my construction concrete boom and they handle the wear-and-tear quite well cheesy brackets I would have to say that hold the light without water in them to light last a long time

Good quality not for standard C 1500 V6 trucks

My experience with this product is that it is a good durable part unfortunately I own a 94 Chevy C 1500 8ft bed V6 standard cap there is just not enough way to collapse the spring to give it enough clearance from the a arm maxing out on the frame I added ball joint spacers and still without cutting an inch and a half from tip of the spring off I had no clearance at the moment I cut two and a half inch off the factory spring with the ball joint spacer which is like a half inch thick itself it helped with the alignment which I have no issues with I did notice one spring sag more than the other before I even cut them it's even doubt now but pay attention to that and get your shots obviously don't go with the shock extensions I hope this helps remember standard cab V8 is what this product is made for
