Possibilities but has issues
At first it seemed to be a nice device. Rotating base and changing colors. Then the squeaking started. I suppose it plastic on plastic but the squeaking seemed to get worse. Rather than litsten to it all day I turned off the rotation. This rather defeated the purpose of displaying all sides of my photos, so I opened it up and tried some WD40. If ever do this again I will use a silicon or graphite based lubricant because this lubricant got everywhere and eventually the mirror base came off. Apparently its held on by three peices of double sided tape, which was disolved by the lubricant. It wasn't a big deal I could glue it on again easily...however the squeaking didn't stop, it actually got worse. So, pros are its incredibly cheap. Cons are the noise will drive you mad unless its used in a noisy environment that drowns it out or in a display that muffles the sound.

As good as it reasonably gets after all this time
A basic laptop keyboard for the Inspiron 1525. The feel is a bit mushy but if you want to replace the keyboard of these old laptops you don't have a lot of choices. So, it works as well as the original and hopefully has some longevity. The original laptop is coming up on 12 years old, so whether from age, natural use, or having your 7 years old twins rip the keycaps AND the underlying film off... they are eventually going to die. Its good to have a basic replacement that is easy to install ready to drop in.
