Stiff vs soft
I purchased the endoscope with the soft wire. My only regret is I should have spent a little more money to get the stiffer wired system which I ended up getting. The stiffer wire gave me more control when placing the camera into different areas. With the soft wire system, I had to tape the camera to a dowel to control the direction. Other than that, the camera optics work the same.
