Good quality
There are a lot of these out there and the quality of them can be questionable, but this one seems to be well made. The plug and cable are strong and don't look like they will break easily. I plugged it in and it worked.

Needs a little work
1 of 1 found this helpful The microphone looks good, and for the price, it's hard to complain. However, the PTT switch did not work when I first received it. I had to open it up and check all of the connections, then play with the switch to make it work. I also enlarged the microphone hole a little while I was at it. The speaker sounds boxy, but it's OK.

This can make your RSP1 usable!
First of all, the photos on the listing don't do justice to this nice little box. It's much better looking in person. Secondly, online it's hard to get anyone to tell you that a box like this will make a difference, but I can tell you that it made a big difference in my shack. I was having trouble with my 5 watt QRP transmitter overloading my RSP1 to the point that it was unusable as a ham radio receiver. Now, with the RSP1 inside the box, it's no longer overloading to the point of locking up the AGC like it did before. Now I can finally use it as my main communications receiver. It's a real game changer.
