Great Tire machine and Balancer for the price
4 of 4 found this helpful Tire machine works great and looks like it will last. I had to assemble it upon delivery which wasn't to bad, 2 bolts were missing that bolt the computer screen down on the balancer which I ran the hardware store to get 2 more. I have yet to figure out how to make the turn table on the tire machine turn counter clockwise. No matter what I try; applying a little or a lot of pressure on the pedal or even lifting the pedal up wont make it turn in reverse I emailed NATs to see what they say or if I'm missing something. The first week I had it I dismounted and remounted over 30 ATV rims/tires most of them were 12'' rims with 4 aluminum rims and it had no problems at all. I didn't use the plastic head that was included(along with a bunch of other goodies) for the aluminum rims and a scratched one but that was my fault for being lazy and not swapping. I've also changed my F250 17" rims/31" tires around and it functioned without a hiccup. The balancer took a little playing around with to get the right hub adaptor/ truck spacer combination but now that I have it set it works flawlessly. I've also used the tire machine to put low profile tires on 20" chrome aftermarket rims with little struggle. Don't forget to calibrate the balancer before you use it with the yellow included weight!
I couldn't afford a big name brand balancer or tire machine but this sucker is built tough and seems like it will lasts for years I'd recommend it to anyone looking to buy a tire machine and balancer.
Currently being used at a Taxi service shop for 15", 16", 17" Ford Crown Vic, Dodge Caravans, and Ford Taurus rims and we couldn't love it more. Only time will tell how it holds up but definitely no complaints so far.
