Zin! Zin! Zin! a Violin
Caldecott Honor book known for it's bright, colorful illustrations and rhyme. A great introduction to the instruments in the orchestra for young children. A must for every children's library!

Of Courage Undaunted
As a homeschool family studying about the Lewis & Clark Expedition, this book by James Daugherty was highly recommended to us. We first checked this book out from our local library, but we enjoyed this "living history" book so much that we decided to purchase a copy for our own library. This is a good book for elementary level children; it is very entertaining with both facts and illustrations. The author does a good job at retelling the events in a way that captures the attention, imagination, and memory of young ones. This book is a classic and has a lot to offer to school age children as well as adults who have little knowledge about the Lewis & Clark Expedition.
