A nostalgic piece.
Glamorous females, a "cowboy" in modern dress and plenty of action--what not to like?
For some reason this television series set was not available in the USA. This DVD set came from Australia.
Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer isn't really Stacy Keach's Mike Hammer. The author's character had the Cold War mentality of Sen. Joe McCarthy and a Hugh Hefner attitude toward women. The '80's television series softened the character's paranoid and violent tendencies but kept the womanizing.
