You don't have to be king of the world to rule in the living room.
Reasonable price point. The stand is nice... raising the tv off it's resting place for a couple inches of height. Does not block view or require dedicated place for it. This is not going to fill your house and blow the roof off. It is, however, a magnitude better than anything they've managed to squeeze into a modern television.
It's not about volume. You turn your normal tv volume way up in an effort to understand and comprehend what's going on. The louder it gets, the more irritating it is. With better sound quality and the electronic enhancements... you can hear much better at much lower volumes. The music doesn't bury the vocals. You can hear enunciation, bass, and all kinds of subtleties that simply don't exist without quality sound.
Again, this isn't the most incredible sound system on the planet. No rock star icon is going to replace their PA for their next concert. Instead, it does just what it's supposed to... makes your viewing/listening experience a TON more pleasant than before. And yes, it is capable of filling the room with solid sound. Enjoy.

Caramel's new playground.
Decent unit, reasonable price. The poles seem smaller diameter than most, but still seems pretty stout and our cat loves reaching around the smaller poles in ways he can't with the larger ones. He seems pretty happy. He did manage to reduce the dangling ball to fluff and stuffing all over the place in the first 30 minutes, but you can replace with any old toy and everything else seems to be doing great.
