PROCRAFT INLINE ATTENUATOR XLR FEMALE TO MALE ADAPTOR -10dB PAD SVP559-10DB

    10 db Pad
Works very well. Unlike other pads which are sold for both mic and line use, this is for line use and is the proper impedance to provide flat frequency response at line levels.

Good product...tech support, not so much
Had a problem making this work with DOS. All drivers supplied on the website assume Windows or Lynix. Emailed and was told a crossover cable was needed. This information turned out to be untrue. What did work was using a straight through serial cable, and shorting the data lines which clear the computer to send data. Accomplished this with a serial "Y" adapter and a 9 pin plug, with the appropriate data lines shorted. This went to one port on the "Y" adapter, with the other port open to go to the box. I think the manufacturer would be well served to include something on their website indicating how to wire it for DOS, other that just listing the command strings needed.
