Awesome Scissor Clamp!
Removing hooks with this tool is easier due to the bent jaws, and the micro-serrations on one of the scissor blades allows you to cut fly leaders and tippets very precisely.
No need for a separate nippers and clamp-this one does it all. Handy flathead screwdriver and hook eye needle to boot.
I lost my old pair so I ordered the exactly same model and size.
An invaluable fly-fishing multi-tool!

Nice performance from a nicely priced reel!

As a casting instructor and guide, I'm always on the lookout for economical rods and reels for client use, as well as for my casting students. I will put this SLV to the test out in Montana next week, and, based on its build quality and how it feels in hand, I have little doubt it will perform nicely.
