A tool for expression and amazing sound, not ease of use.
1 of 1 found this helpful The Jag will never be as easy to play as a Strat or Tele, as you really need to run fat strings (ie: 11-52) for it to feel right and resonate properly. This will give you sounds like you have never heard, and with a little patience, you'll find a clean tone that constantly rewards you. The tremolo system is the best I've used and leaves the Strat 'floating bridge' for dead. The distorted tones are rich, full of character and they dare you to push further into more and more distorted territory. So there's the good stuff. Is it easy to play? No, so this guitar is not for everyone. Still, if you've been playing for a while and are looking for the next challenge and a new, very unique sound.. spend some time with this puppy and you'll find it grows on you more and more each time you play it. Besides, look how cool it is!
