A valued and needed companion to the Cadfael series
Terrific book! Covers characters, plot, geography, etc. of all 20 novels plus the novellas. Glad I got it!

Complicaated and deep
Peter May is a fine author but his style is cumbersome, complicated and can be hard to grasp. Half of the book's chapters are written in 3rd person, the other half in first person. It's almost like trying to read two books.s
Having said that, this is heavyweight stuff! The plotting is complex and...compelling in its' way.
I'm glad that I read the Lewis Trilogy and would recommend it, but only to readers willing to work at it.

Challenging but excellent.
Eighteen short films in one two-hour movie. Some are so-so, some excellent, one or two
great. Enjoyed the whole thing very much.
