Box was battered, retaped, cord was new, never unwrapped
Looks like someone ripped off the box lid, never bothered to open the cable, so new, heavy taped box. Was a good deal unless you collect boxes.

Lovely acrylic blue body, has black swirl highlights, good value pen, excellent gift pen.
Nice old school look aka Retro. I believe these pens are German made?
Metal top, twists to use pen, bottom metal cone unscrews to replace cartridge.
This is a solid acrylic barrel pen, it is not plastic. The difference is plastics are usually injected into a mold, squeezed like toothpaste, acrylic is form like glass sheets into acrylic sheets, then cut to size, machined, same as in acrylic eyeglasses.
Acrylic is much stronger and because it is cut from sheets no two pens will be exactly the same.
Usually these acrylic body pens are found only in fountain pens. I hope they continue to make them in this material.
My only gripe is I wish these pens come with blue ink, sigh, seems most companies only sell their products with black ink. This isn't this reseller's fault.
The German gel cartridge writes very smooth, dries quick. This pen uses a short Parker G2 cartridge, not the Pilot G2. There are a lot of options for cartridges for this pen, including a hybrid, a gel-roller ink cartridge, that can write on thermo paper, or very cheap paper that absorbs gels too quickly. You give up, just slightly, the smoothness of a true gel.
