Professional Brake Pipe Flaring Tool In-situ 3/16" (4.75mm) DIN Hand Held On Car

Don’t bother with other tools...!

...seriously don’t bother with the multi flare tools (you know the ones I’m talking about!) as I have done in the past. Sure they are cheap, and that’s for a reason. You may get one good flare in every ten, provided you have on your lucky socks and all the moons have aligned. Yes this tool is only good for DIN flares, but then most cars of the last 25/30 (if not longer) years use this type of flare. It does the flare very well indeed. I have only used this on copper and on a scrap piece in the comfort of my shed at that. But I’m confident you could use it on-vehicle without issue. Make sure you use the grease that’s provided for the punch, this will especially be the case for Kunifer and Steel pipes. It prevents the materials from grabbing and twisting when you tighten the punch. In short this is the type of dependable tool you need for such a safety critical part of your vehicle. I won’t hesitate to buy the SAE flare tool if the need arises.
