Works great with Apple Video Player
Works great on my Performa 640CD (DOS Compatible) with OS 7.6.1 using the software distributed as part of the OS, Apple Video Player. Metal enclosure has oxidized a bit over time, but still functions well and is in good shape otherwise.

Great on Performa 640CD
Initial startup is slower (expected), but works great on my Performa 640CD! I didn't try it on the PC card, but Finder detects the whole 128MB + 4MB onboard after installing. Didn't expect this to work after looking at Every Mac and even the motherboard only claims up to 32MB supported for a slot, but this works great!

Works great as a classic Mac boot device!
1 of 1 found this helpful I went through 6 other compact flash cards and about 6 different readers before I found this card that worked for what I needed. Apple in the 90s made things difficult for users to use non-Apple branded hard drives so going into my project I was worried I wouldn't be able to bring my Performa 640CD DC back from the dead. When I tried other Transcend cards that were stated to be UDMA, my 68k Mac wouldn't detect them. I found one article that investigated the issue and found that it came down to how bit 15 of word 0 in the response from the Identify Device ATA command was set. It seems this bit not only commonly signifies extended compact flash capabilities, but at some point indicated an ATAPI device. If the bit is set, the classic mac ignores the device.
This card just works on my classic mac. Once I saw this in action, I went and bought two more so I'd always have spare drives for my old machine.
