icf-38 excellent radio
Radio has good sound on AM and FM. High Low tone control very handy and when on high adds more treble and a more pleasing sound. Station sensitivity is excellent on both AM and FM. The on/off control is neatly located on top of the radio which allows you to preset station and volume control. When using 4 AA batteries the AC cord is cleverly stored in a hinged compartment on the back. The selectivity is also good for a radio of this price range. All in all an excellent radio and the only downside is that the radio does not have a headphone jack but has an earphone jack instead.
This means in order to hear out of both right and left ears using headphones(mono) you have to purchase an adapter cable.

Good sound, great sensitivity and selectivity, however there is no weather band on SW.
