ok cage, you get what you pay for
when i bought my chinchillas (they were young) they could escape through the gaps, but they seem to not be able to get out now. They cage is a struggle to put together and keeps on falling apart so having to zip-tie everything together. if i was you i would spend a little more money on a better cage
