Generic Wave Guide
I traced the pattern of old one onto the new one and used a utility knife to cut it. Pretty simple and cheap compared to original manufactured part. In fact, I bought 3 to have on hand if the situation occurs again.

Feels Better Then the Original
It's been installed now for over a month and so far, so good. I was surprised at the weight of the product and it appears to be "all metal" as advertised. Very happy with the product and price.

Typical water heater element
It has a smaller diameter element than the original. Installed and working so we'll see how it holds up
