A Holliday in Gold Country
This book was recommended to me by a major Gold Rush collector, but I had no idea it would be so good. Replete with maps, duotone printing of photographs and daguerreotypes and illustrations, very high quality printing on heavy coated paper, the book is a pleasure to page through and hold.
Alas, I have not gotten down to a serious read, but fully expect the research and wordcraft will surpass the high quality of the presentation.
