Superb entertainment !
This appeared as a PBS series on TV a long time ago. If you like British comedy, you will enjoy this. It is the type of series you can go back to and play over and over again. There are not many TV series that you can do that with.

A great book to learn to build your own boat !
I bought this book after buying and building my own boat "the Nymph" from the first book. I may, one day, build a boat from this book. There are a lot of boat building books out there, but this is the most practical - in my opinion. The plans are as simple as any that the first time boat builder can find. There are a lot of tips that will save one money by using commonly found materials - not just wood or paint made specifically for boats. Maritime products can be horrendously expensive. One thing you should be prepared for is to pay extra for the full sized plans after you select the boat model to decide to build.

Inexpensive and low maintence !
I had the white colored version of this for years. Wife said it looked cheap. I painted the bowl blue to make it look better but the paint will not stick. This version in "Peppercorn" color is FAR better ! I have no idea what "Peppercorn" color is but this color is more like an aged "Cement" color that is more natural for a birdbath. My wife loves it ! It looks far more natural. It is weather resistant ! Just fill half of the bottom with sand and screw on the top and you are ready to go ! You may have to rotate the top to get the screw holes to line up. Once done, stand upright and add water ! I find it very hard to get a birdbath to stand perfectly upright. No problem ! Just place a couple of rocks to one side to 'balance' the bowl ! It also serves as a place to birds to stand and enhances the overall appearance of the birdbath ! The easiet part is cleaning. Just tip the birdbath over to empty the dirty water and refill with a garden water can ! THe EASIEST birdbath to clean of the prevoius four I owned !
