So far, So Good
I bought two sets of two; I needed them for my Grind outfit. I tend to take care of my gear, so I can get the most use out of them, but I do play hard. I get the feeling that the tightening screws will eventually strip, but they seem to be holding on for now. At about $25 per stand, I'm not complaining.

A'aight!
There's some amazing orchestrations on this album, and some nerve-rackingly scary tracks as well. It certainly hasn't aged well as a work though. The first track sounds like a 70's cop show theme song played by the Charles Mingus Bigband....and maybe that's your thing.

Good Easy Listening
Maybe not "Easy Listening". This is a project features drum gods Greg Saunier of Deerhoof and Zach Hill of Hella, as well as everyone's favorite harp playing pixie, Joanna Newsome. The finished product resembles an art object that could serve as interesting background music. The recording is highly compressed, so the drumming draws itself out in a glitchy, staccato fabric. Joanna's harp peaks out in between the drumming in a few tracks. Kind of scary to think that these people were up in each other's business way before they ever became big.
