Solid little adapto
5 of 6 found this helpful The unit is well built and does what it is advertised to do. However, my propane tank seems to have some kind of flow restrictor/check valve built in that shuts off if the flow is too high. That may become a problem for actually using the device.

What you see is NOT what you get
The unit I received is not what was displayed in the picture. While functionally equivalent, the form factor is significantly larger than I expected or was planning for. The unit is clearly an older generation than what was depicted in the picture.

Works good, with a little work...
1 of 1 found this helpful I was looking for an inexpensive grinder to grind my own corn for brewing, and this unit does the job with a little help. It is inexpensive for sure, but is a little rough as a result. I had to grind a few rough edges off outside grinding plate for clearance. I also replaced the carriage bolts that hold the front adjuster bracket on with larger bolts, nuts and added washers to set the minimum clearance between the two grinding plates. Without the washers you can not properly tighten the bolts and still be able to turn the grinder. Lastly I replaced the handle with a 12mm bolts and used a low speed drill to turn the unit. It works good now and I can grind 8 pounds of corn in a couple of minutes. I like the "old school" look and feel of this unit and it is fun and rewarding to grind your own grain. It had some minor issues out of the box, but I'm glad I purchased it.
