Great Value. YSF is not Wires-X.
Great product as long as you know the limitations going into it. I did not understand the difference between YSF and Wires-X but this does nothing with Wires-X. It'll connect you to the YSF nodes and that is it. If you click on the node to get news, messages, or media, those are all Wires-X functions and are not available. I've only played with YSF and YSF2DMR on this and cannot comment on other modes. Works great with Yaesu FT3DR. My FTM-400 is hit or miss if it will be able to save the node to favorites through the hotspot.

Great product, not the easiest install.
1 of 1 found this helpful Great product. Integrates perfectly with my '16 1500. Surprised the truck did not come with it from the get go. Bracket screws were difficult but eventually got them in with a wrench,lots of patience, and a some bloody knuckles. Used Alfaobd to program vehicle instead of dealership.
