simple cheap way to save $$$ on heating bill and cut down drafts. simply the best other brands are only a little cheaper but twice as hard to use
We do this every year to all the windows
take your time installing to go it well, you will get better results.
remove curtains
wipe the surfaces to apply the tape provided with isopropanol
(if possible use the side edges to get the tape around the corner)
apply the tape overlapping the beginning and the end ( you will need to pull back a bit of the carrier paper to do this)
cut the film 3-4" wider than the window (2" is not enough)
lightly tack it at the top corners.
take a few minutes to get the film so here are no big folds as it is pressed into the tape. ( you get better at this the more windows you do )
heat shrink along the top and then down the sides and the bottom last.
