Good mix of original & traditional songs.
Good mix of original songs written by Naomi along side traditional folk material. She has a great voice and the CD is a good listen. Not quite up to the level of "Singing it all back home" recorded with Paul Simmonds which is excellent.

Interesting early Dead.
Radio broadcasts from 1966 & 1969. This is the Dead playing bluesy standards popular at the time, particularly the earlier set. Quite decent sound and a good price for a 3 cd box. Probably you would have to have been around in the sixties to enjoy the music as it is a bit of a nostalgic trip. The Grateful Dead would evolve in the 70's to become one of the great bands and this does not compare to their later output.

Tremendous album - one of Mary's best.
Always liked Mary Coughlan - had a lot of her albums over the years but not heard a lot of her "recent" stuff - only 10 years back this one ! This CD is stunning with such a variety of songs - ballads and rocky tracks - and soul -bearing, raunchy singing from a special talent. Cracking album - recommended.
