Worked for me.
While mp's are a very personal part of a sax setup, the Rovner Dark has been good for me. I am starting to study and play again after a 25 year break. I feel a little like a beginner and wanted a mouthpiece ligature combo that was easier to play. I had an GW Slant mouthpiece hand faced for me by Greg Wier and bought 2 new ligatures to go with 2 old ones I had, and I chose the Rovner.

Good reeds
Everyone likes different reed brands for different reasons. I like LaVoz and RICO Jazz Select. For me they are crisp and right in the middle of the dark/bright spectrum.
