Have not used the foldable Mavic's yet, using them as spares. I have inspected the product, they fit well and tight on a spare rim that I used. It was a chore to get them on, but that's the way it should be. They should be roughly tight clinching the inside of the rim to avoid them on pop off during use on the road. I give them a 3 star for now because of the none service on them. They say it has a nylon belt for flats, but I don't know how thick the belt may be. If Mavic use a nylon weave type belt with a proper thickness, it's as good as kevlar on catching glass like a web and hold it in place with less chance of cutting all the way. If the belt is made of nylon type plastic, it's more likely a piece of glass would cut through out. The thread is slick and thin which I'm guessing that 500 to 800 miles would be its life line, but the weight of the Mavic is light, very light. Thats the only good part where I would upgrade its rating for it lightness.

terrific buy

tried them on for size and fits very well just like a glove. have not wore them out to get the true feeling of the boot but if it fits the way I feel to size them and I have no doubt wearing them for the long run will be excellent. delivery was sooner than expected, no blemish to the boot, new store stock perfect.
