They're Okay...
No exactly waterproof. More like water resistant to a very limited level. The mounting brackets are slightly better than aluminum foil, and as such, do not provide a real secure, stable attachment. The plastic is likewise not to durable, so mounting an alternate choice of brackets is not an option as the plastic would likely break. The lights themselves give off a fair amount of brilliance, to BE SEEN, but do not provide sufficient illumination for use as driving lights / aux lighting to SEE. These are more for novelty, or accent lighting rather than 'functional purpose' lighting. You get what you pay for, and with that, they do work.

Good, but not quite Good enough....
The lights worked. Even though these bulbs have 50 elements, they are just not adequate for me to use on my motorcycle. It is very important that I be seen. These bulbs are about half as bright as the standard 1157 bulbs, and the intensity increase when the flasher or brake light is applied, is just simply not noticeable enough. Too many people out there do not pay much attention when following motorcycles, so when I turn lights on to signal, brake or just motoring down the highway, I have to have lights that jump out at people. I want to be sure I'm seen. I gave the Easy to Install, Operate, and Value, 'Yes' s, because they are. Maybe these would work for car usage, but I feel that they just do not give enough illumination for practical use. Perhaps these could be used for recreational off road vehicles where there is little chance of someone running into you. Sorry I couldn't give a better review.
