Decent speaker wire
Wire is very soft and flexible. Feels like silicone. When stripping ends you can score it lightly and tear it off to avoid damaging the wire. Solder flows well on the wire. It does seem to be under-size. More like 16 AWG than 14 AWG.

I was concerned it might have a strong chemical smell but it does not. It has a normal rubber smell. The neoprene is about 1/8" thick and spongy, slightly stretchable. I bought it to keep my lower back warm while recovering from a lifting injury. Works perfect

Sanitary and easy to use
They lock securely when they are set and you don't handle the dead rate end of the trap. I found that gluing a peanut in the bait hole using peanut butter or cream cheese works well. Just don't leave the trap out where birds can get into them. Some birds like peanuts
