1 of 1 found this helpful I have always seen the Nikon D7000 to be a great advanced camera for the photo enthusiasts. When the time came to finally pick one up I was very pleased to see a refurbished model for such a wonderful price. It came with everything you would get if you bought it brand new from a store. It has been a great companion to my array of cameras and delivers the goods. Great build quality, great performance and keeps on surprising.

Nikon 1 V3
The V3 pleasently surprised me with its great image quality and performance. Despite its small size, it feels good in the hands and its light weight is great. The small selection of 1 lenses covers most everything you would need in terms of wide to telephoto, with fantastic glass and build quality. When you couple the V3 with the FT-1 adapter, you can get great long range capability for wildlife capture using F mount lenses, including non-AI. The burst rates on this camera are extremely useful for me in my photography, the focus is speedy and accuate, albeit a bit fussy depending on your environment. The only down side to this camera, is the difficulty in getting wider angles. The FT-1 is great, but the other end of the focal length spectrum is hard to have access to. I think the V series by Nikon has been widely underestimed because this camera is a winner in my book, not only for its professional qualities, but its portability and likelihood to be used for almost any situation.
