MP AV 775G Review
1 of 2 found this helpful I bought this to use the green power function to turn on a amplifier using a 12 volt DC adapter as a trigger when my main receiver turned on since it did not have a switched a/c outlet on it or zone 1 trigger out. It worked great the first day but then my receiver turned off while watching a movie. I found the receiver outlet was dead and all the green power outlets also. I reset it but still no go. I verified I only had 8 volts AC out on the receiver outlet and milivolts on the green power outlets. The non switched had 120 volts AC. I am just thankful that when it died it did not take my $2000 Onkyo receiver with it. As my profession I am a electronics tech so it is not operator error on set up. The quality of this product is sub par and probably why Monster Power has discontinued it. Monster Power quality has really gone cheap in build over the years compared to the units I bought around 2005. I would suggest Panamax or Furman over them any day of the week.

You would pay four times the money to get a speaker as good.
I use the BIC PL-66 as surround speakers for my Klipsch Reference RF-83 main speakers on my home theater. They blend seamlessly with the Klipsch system and are 1/4 the price of a comparable set of Klipsch. They are very efficient also. The piano black lacquer finish is beautiful. I also use the BIC PL-28 center channel. I highly recommend them.

Excellent sound quality.
