Small Block 350 Retro Vortec TBI Chevy Finned Aluminum Short Style Valve Covers

They look nice, but.....

The lip on the inside is too small to hold the gasket in place during installation. The silicone gaskets these covers use are nearly impossible to glue in place, I managed to hold them in place with wire clips that could be removed after they were in place but this may not be possible in every application. The bolt holes are too far off center, and want to pull the covers towards the top of the engine.
