More horsepower, Scotti!
poor quality with plastic gear parts. No sure of the life of the plastic parts. First batch of ice cream didn't freeze completely. Had to let sit longer in order to freeze enough to scoop out and eat. Also, when the ice cream gets hard on bottom it pushes up the mixer and stops the motor early.

Old versus New
1 of 1 found this helpful The new screw type valve is easier to use versus the old plunger type. The old plunger type valve would get stuck and easy to break off the handles. The new screw valve is easily turned by hand. I'm not sure how it will work over time, but so far excellent up grade!
