Zoo Tycoon-Excellent PC Game

I purchased this game for my sons who are elementary school ages. They love the challenge of figuring out the perfect habitat for the animals and having the ability to create several different zoo's in different countries. This is a very educational game,my boys have learned a lot about many animals as well as where they live geographically,and the ideal habitat for them. I would recommend this game for anyone who has very smart or curious kids.It's great to play alone,but my boys also co-create a couple of zoos as well. They take pride in what they create and they strive to make a really well ex- ecuted zoo in order to achieve the best rating. My boys research the animals and zoo locations they choose and they take great pride in showing me their accomplishments. This is a well created game that educates and gives kids the experience of the circle of life in a clear and gentle way,because the animals give birth as well as die,just like the real world and although they were put off a little bit at first,once I explained the circle of life in more detail and they are more accepting. I feel that this game instills very good life skills similar to the Animal Crossing games. when one of their animals dies.
