Great upgrade for old laptop

I had an old HP DV7 laptop with a dual core i3 inside. This quad core i7 processor is a great upgrade for that old machine. Just make sure your power supply adapter can handle the load. My original HP 90w adapter did not have enough juice to power the 4 cores at their full speed and they were running at 1600MHz max. I bought an HP 120w adapter to fix the issue.
