WORST PURCHASE!!!

I bought a pair of this headlamp assembly last year and it was the worst purchase I ever made... It's an attractive headlight, and the only reason why I kept them, but by the time the other issues came up the seller warranty was already up... The quality of these lamps are the worst I have ever seen... First the wiring was wrong... The wiring for the low beam was where the high beam was, so the car always has the high beam on when you start the car... and when you turned the high beam on the low beam comes on... The connections are plug and play, so idiot proof for the operator installer... I had to switch around the connectors to the correct position or risk problems with the other drivers on the road or maybe the cops... These headlight assembly comes with bulbs included (H1), which are a different type and emits less light than my stock bulbs... The bulbs that comes in the units are low quality bulbs, and I do understand the concept, higher quality bulbs would drive up the cost of the units... Note, if you do use a better quality bulbs, stick to the 55w, if you use a higher wattage it could burn the wires in the assembly as they are thin... Another problem is, the rubber molding around the outside of the assembly started shrinking after a few months and dirt, leaves and water get into certain areas around the light where the molding shrinked and a pain to clean out... The good thing the housing it where the clear glass is for the light to emit is sealed, no leaks there... The other side of the molding that meets with the fender has shrinking so much it has gaps now and getting worse each month... They are getting very unsightly... Now very soon I will have to buy new headlamp to preserve the look and value of my car!!!
