Irobot fast charger and dock.
In my experience these chargers are above average quality. The fast charger is great just because of the faster charge time. in addition, you really don't need the dock if you don't want it. The only down fall in always using the fast charger is with any device that you repeatably plug and unplug the connection "normally in the roomba" can fail. Although that is fixable it would not be recommended for the inexperienced.
If you want to use that dock that will lessen the impact on damaging the roomba. Unfortunately the roomba doesn't always make it back to the its dock. Simply place the roomba on the dock and let it charge.
Bottom line. If you lost your charger to you roomba or if somehow yours need replaced for another reason. It is absolutely worth it to buy a charger. If don't really need to buy a new one. Just make sure it states that they have been tested before it ships. Also. Make sure that if you still have yours that you TEST YOUR CHARGER FIRST.
