Nicely finished.
Others of this same design from other labels showed machine marks and rough edges. I'd read of some of these mounts collapsing in the center as they get tightened, causing the contact surface for the center conductor of the pl259 on the antennae cable to be in too far to make contact, rendering the mount useless. This seems like a possibility since the center insulation material appears to be a plastic that could crush under enough pressure from the shoulder of the hex socket head center bolt that comes with the mount. That center bolt is smaller diameter than 3/8x24.
These I bought will be adapted for use with lugs and center bolt or fire ring connectors. I'll drill out the center and tap the 3/8 x 24 threads all the way thru the mount from the top and cut the pl259 threads off the bottom flange and drill it to 1/2 or 17/32 to use insulator washers and fire ring or lugs between it and the center bolt. Just like the K4 mounts. They should prove bombproof.
