Hearing is good with it, but battery life is bad

For the price, the sound is good and it helps my mother to hear far better then what she did. The real problem comes from the poor battery usage. It burns through batteries FAST. If you need a short term solution, I would recommend. If long term I would look for something that does go two batteries every day.
