Souper good book.
I don't normally go for self-discovery stories and suchlike, but this one looked like it had a fun hook, and I wasn't at all disappointed. Had I not found it at Dollar Tree originally, I might not have bothered, but it was a welcome companion for some time. I found myself connecting with the author in spite of myself, and learning so very much about ramen along the way.
Having since lost my copy, I eventually got the urge to read it again, and was more than willing to pay full price this time. It really is a fascinating read. I recommend it to anyone who loves noodles and/or has issues. I can't remember what those specific issues were, but I remember it being at least a little relatable.

For the age of this thing, it's remarkably well kept apart from some edge wear. Not that it's worth much- I specifically bought it because it's hands down the weirdest, most awkward design in the entire series, and that's very funny to me. Your mileage may vary.

Not the good one, but acceptable.
Well, it's a straight VHS RIP, so the quality is so-so. Night scenes are almost indecipherable. Wouldn't have been disappointing if the pic hadn't shown the good version, but for the price, I have to admit I'm happy just to own it.
