Robust
The Stanley hand sander is a well made piece of equipment. The main problem with it is that no-one except perhaps Stanley make sanding sheets to fit it. The bed is 230mm long so sanding sheets need to be 300mm long to reach and clip under the end plates. At 80mm wide it is much narrower than a 1/3 sheet sander. The only way I can see of getting the right size sheets is by using rolls of sandpaper, to get the length, and by trimming the 105mm to get the right width. I wanted a replacement for a 1/3 sheet sander which had broken. If that is what you want then avoid this sander

Sleek power pod.
Sleek "drinks bottle" shaped 36V battery. Fits easily onto the frame of the bike, unsurprisingly where drinks bottle would normally go. The charger came separately, eventually, Battery fits easily into the fitted cradle on the frame and needs a key to remove it. Can be charged on or off the bike. Too soon to rate performance and range, it's just too cold at the moment.

Great Idea
Easy to attach, set up and adjust. When set up, as per the very clear instruction leaflet, where the lines cross is where your drill goes in. Simply a great addition to my old drill press. Just remember that it is battery powered and switch it off when you are finished. Also if, like me, you are driven out of your 'man cave' in the winter, to take out the batteries.
