The DVD/CD does not work but who uses DV...

The DVD/CD does not work but who uses DVD/CDs these days. I installed a 500GB SSD with macOS Sequoia, 15.4 and it works great. I recondition the Mid 2012 laptops and give them to kids who cannot afford a laptops.
