If only the operating system was as AMAZING as the SOUND is.
I love most things about the Sonos system. Sound quality is amazing! Wireless syncing, ease of setup, size, etc...all great! Aesthetically pleasing. Durable. Good overall construction. Sleek. All the yes!
My only complaint is the overall operating system feels limited. It's like the programmers took a note from the Apple, "how to squeeze every dime out of your customer and offer as little real control as possible" playbook. I feel very locked into their architecture with no option to expand. Sonos doesn't play well with others. Sure it can plug into other systems, like television, or turntables, but for that you have to buy another $300 receiver to make it work. Also, unless I'm missing something, you can't use the speakers for anything other than music (and TV). Mostly they'll only play music through the Sonos app (or other music service that can integrate with the Sonos player.)
In other words if you're looking to build an epic home stereo system make sure to shop around first. This may not be the right move for you and Sonos is EXPENSIVE!
Other than feeling a bit pigeon-holed, there's not much to complain about...and I don't really like to complain. So instead I'm gonna crank my speakers and let y'all shop!

Looks great! Not great for play though.
Out of the box one of his legs was twisted (and not going back). Also, do to the nature of the design, his joints are pretty weak. For display he's awesome, for play it won't take very long to find him in the scrap heap.
