MTX39 is a solid rim
The Sun Ringle MTX39 is a beast of a rim. I was pleasantly surprised at how solid the rims felt, and lacing up was a breeze. Going from a Easton Havoc rim to this is like night and day. I'm fairly certain these rims will hold up to a lot of abuse.

DT spokes are quality
DT Swiss is an industry leader in quality and performance, and the spokes recently purchased prove the fact. I have some cheaper brand spokes and DT is much more solid from a weight/feel perspective. I personally would not cheap out on parts that could put your life in danger, and spokes are one of those items of the wheel you should invest a bit more to ensure there is a lower chance of catastrophic failure. Highly recommend.
