Most durable 1/8 scale out of the box.
The RedCat BE6S comes out of the box with parts that would be considered "upgrades/mods" when compared to the big boys. It really is put together, with quality parts out of the box like you would expect from the smaller more specialized or competition manufacturers.
Most big brand manufacturers intentionally ship the RC with lower cost undereffective parts. They save a few pennies hear and their on various parts which adds up to a couple of $ savings on each RC which adds up to a lot more profit. They then know you'll either be buying replacement parts often and/or pay for over priced upgrades. With the BE6S, you will never need to upgrade most parts. The only item on the BE6S that visually looks like it should be thicker out of the box are the turnbuckles/tie rods, it appears to be quality material, just not very thick for how long they are. That said, I've not seen or heard of them braking.

The real deal, best I have purchased.
These are the best wheel axles I have purchased and I have gone through many. These fit perfectly but, that's not the best part. The axles fit in the hub great and more importantly, the pin is longer than most provided and the 12mm hex adapter is actually made for the diameter of the axles and the pin fits more snugly than others. This means less slop. Also, the hex adapters don't need to be filed down to prevent binding. I put my plastic hubs back in as I didn't like the bearing slop in the aluminum hubs and these fit great, I didn't need to shim them. Now I have not yet duribility tested these but I can say, they are thicker and better built than any other axles I have purchased and bent in the past. These are better than the black ones and even better than other stainless steel axles I have purchased. I have bent them all and quickly. These are actually thicker. Now that is impossible in most areas of the axle with the exception of where the threads are where you bolt down the wheel. This is where most of my previous axles have bent, right where the wheel nut threads started. These are thicker at that point, the wheel nut bolt is actually the next size larger nut. The threads and the wheel nut are 1/10th scale. Like I said, not tested but visually much thicker, nicer and flat out better than any others I have seen that fit this car.

High quality, nice upgrade
1 of 1 found this helpful Lots of complaints about leaking. Ignore them. If you assembly it properly, lube the o-rings a little bit and don't overfill, it is a very nice upgrade and won't leak.
